Future's, formerly Theresahere, shipping fees for eBay auction shopping explained in much greater detail:

TheresaHere's new eBay name is Future & 'everything's looking bright for the future'! I accept money orders & checks. I also accept Paypal. I would prefer money orders, & then, personal checks as Paypal is very convenient for the buyer yet very expensive for the shipper. It's a swift, easy payment form for the buyer. I do accept the fact that eBay has shown 99% of the buyers that Paypal is much easier & quicker to use, thus, I accept the Paypal payments without complaint; I merely wish for a little appreciation from the buyer's on this factor. I would prefer International money orders in US dollars for international purchases. My bank’s fees are substantial but low. Payments must be made in US Dollars.

No, you can not preview nor pick up your items to save the shipping costs. Future, formerly TheresaHere, the Fishing Lure Lady, is located right in the heart of Seattle, Washington, USA.

Yes, I will combine shipping on the auctions whenever possible or realistic. I do not combine shipping on Paypal payment purchases; the paypal rates are too high for that. I subtract a few dollars per additional item, for domestic shipping, if the items are of similar size & weight. There's no combined shipping reduction for scuba tanks, scuba weights, paypal payments nor fish rods if they don't fit into the same box. Fishing reels don't fit in fishing rod boxes. They're shipped completely separately, thus shipping on the 2nd item is reduced but not combined. I double box any item that is even remotely breakable! I over-box every item to protect your treasure from the ‘shipping gorillas’!
I 'officially' ship on Mondays & Fridays. I actually ship daily. Your auction item will not be delayed any longer than necessary. Once your payment has arrived, your box generally goes out the next day.

For the shipping price stated below, I ship UPS Ground Delivery to actual street addresses in the lower 48 states of the USA only. UPS Ground includes free tracking & insurance. UPS still does not deliver to P.O. boxes; I need your actual street address, written legibly. If you write it really, really, really fast then I can’t read it. I need it on a single piece of paper with both your auction name & number on it; the best humor here has already been done. All of this was written on the world’s tiniest post-it note! …As much as I like Alaska, it still isn’t in the lower 48 states; UPS still doesn’t drive there for ground delivery. Same for Hawaii.

You can track your own item until it's delivered via http://www.ups.com/etracking/tracking.cgi Just enter your auction reference number as your tracking reference number. It will keep you up to date on the box’s exact location!

If you want this shipped through the Post Office or to a P.O. Box, I will do this for an additional $10.00 handling fee. This fee is non-negotiable. This is non-negotiable. I pay UPS a ton of money to pick up the boxes, daily, at my house. In this day & age, the Post Office is not going to let me pull up in my tiny car, unload 20 gigantic boxes & drive away to find a parking spot! The $10.00 handling fee also covers my time to figure out the USPS shipping costs, print the shipping label by hand, enter the shipping information, by hand, afterwards, into the auction accounting software, by hand, & check all of the accuracy, by hand. I pay eBay's auction software program a ton of money to automate this procedure. …UPS picks up at my house.

My Post-person is very nice, however, just delivered me 5 other people’s mail for 3 other street addresses. This is just not the kind of service I desire for delivering your treasures. The cost of USPS plus insurance, plus tracking, is near to UPS’s cost. I can’t guarantee that I can deliver a 1 pound box for less than $8.55 to a residential address, off the main roads, including the fuel surcharge & extras fees, that probably include ‘got truck dirty’ fees. Thus my shipping fees are high. I ship UPS. This is non-negotiable. The UPS rates go up every January. The residential rates are a minimum of $1.75 more than for a business address, just because it's residential.

For shipping to ANOTHER COUNTRY, it will go airmail at MY estimated shipping cost, estimated from the post office's rate book, plus the additional $10.00 handling fee. This is non-negotiable. This is non-negotiable. For you to pre-estimate the cost, it's coming from Seattle, Washington, 98155. You can estimate postage costs to get a general idea of what final total I will be charging via the Post Office at http://www.usps.com/tools/calculatepostage/welcome.htm?from=global&page=0061calculatepostage.

This is non-negotiable. I pay UPS a ton of money to pick up the boxes, daily, at my house. The $10.00 handling fee also covers my time to figure out the USPS shipping costs, which are always different than the online estimations, figure out what actual name USPS names the destination country, print the shipping label by hand, print the customs label by hand, enter the shipping information, afterwards, into the auction accounting software, by hand, & check all of the accuracy, by hand. I pay eBay's a ton of money to automate this procedure. It also covers the enormous Paypal fees for receiving foreign currency of some forms & my bank’s fees for receiving any form of out-of-country payment, even International money orders. I pay these fees. I only ship USPS for international shipping due to the unexplained 'extra fees' UPS charges to the buyer at the border. I don't think you should have to pay some unexplained 'extra fees'.

Return policy: My auctions are As-Is. This means no refunds. I make exceptions to this when I've caused complete errors; Refunds will gladly be given on the auction price only, after the items are returned in the same condition, if the items are somehow 100% different that described & pictured. Shipping fees & return shipping charges & Paypal fees are non-refundable. I always, always, always make it right with my buyers. I've made mistakes or missed seeing damage & I'm very willing to 'fess up to my errors & make it right. With over 10,000 auctions, as TheresaHere & previous names, I have mostly positive feedback because I always, always ensure my buyers are happy. My feedback would be even higher except that I have so many very happy repeat customers!

Please do not use eBay Checkout. I will email you within a few hours of the auction's end with all of the details. Thank you for reading all of this. This is because using eBay Checkout simply generates extra emails which slows me down from getting your auction notice out to you. Keeping it simple helps! Having your current email address on your eBay buyer’s identification helps too. Emailing your address to me doesn’t help; I ship from your payment’s information. Emailing to ask your total right after the auction doesn’t help; your information is on its way to you swiftly!

My shipping rates are high. These are non-negotiable. I pay UPS a ton of money to pick up here daily. This won't change. When the buyer doesn't know their own address, moves or prints the wrong suburb, I pay UPS $5.00 for them to fix this without delaying the delivery. UPS does a marvelous job of fixing this or finding the person, (They found 1 guy before his own Mom knew he had moved!) but I pay the fees. When the buyer uses Paypal, I pay the fees. When the buyer doesn't pay for the auction, I pay the fees. When the buyer needs a refund or partial refund, I've already paid the fees. Please help keep it all simple!

I always have the auctions shipping fee very clearly stated in the auction, like this:

Buyer to pay $00.00 for shipping and handling. UPS Ground delivery.

Thank you for reading all of this. TheresaHere appreciate you!
